Instructions on how to shutdown and startup Aleph.

*** If the shutdown is between 11:00 pm and 5:00 am the arc etl should be commented out so it does not start at 11:00 pm.

Before shutting down aleph, check to see if there are any perl or .sh scripts running, and check alephe/scratch to see when the most recent job completed.

If there is a *.lock at the end of a job in the alephe/scratch, that job is still running, and you'll need to wait for it to stop or stop it before shutting down the application.

Also, be aware of scheduling downtime, as we're supporting the Duke Kunshan Library which is 12 or 13 hours different from Durham.
