Hey guys, where is everyone?...
Where's the party tonight, people?
We are looking for a house/dog sitter during winter break for our friendly dog Sylvie and two low-maintenance guinea pigs at our home in eastern Chapel Hill (9 miles from Duke campus). We need the person to start in the morning of Dec 26 and end in the evening of Jan 1. The sit involves daily walks and feeding, plus an occasional check/feed the guinea pigs. We offer $200 plus a bottle of wine! It is preferred, but not absolutely essential that the person stay at the house. If you are interested, please contact my wife Bonnie Nevel (yes, different last name): nevel at editerra dot or email me at my duke email address
Required text book for ENV energy and technology course and I am asking for $20 (a little lower than Amazon). Please contact email@example.com if you are interested and we can meet in LSRC to hand over the book.
$35 – Economics of the Environment, edited by Robert N Stavins, Fifth Edition (For ENV270)
$18 – The Non-Designer's Design Book, Robin Williams, Third Edition (for "Professional Communications", 298.98?)
Both books are in excellent condition
E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you want 'em! If the school bookstore prices are cheaper I'll accomodate - I priced them according to Amazon used book prices which are usually cheaper.
Missing a green fabric pencil case containing papers (stamps, etc.) instead of pencils. Lost 8/28/2011 in/near LSRC or Gross Chem. Please email me (hcd7) with any leads. Thanks.

I'm driving home to Arlington this weekend, and I'd like to split the cost of gas/carbon footprint with someone. I'll be leaving from Duke around 1 pm on Friday, and leaving from Arlington at the same time on Sunday. I'll drop any passengers off at Ballston metro. I can fit up to three people in my car comfortably.
Suggested gas contribution: $15 (less if more than one person splits the ride with me).
